Glen Scotia Double Cask Rum Cask Finish

Transport yourself to Campbeltown in the year 1815 – there were rum casks from across the Atlantic Ocean on sale in the town! This Double Cask dram pays homage to that rich history by taking Glen Scotia spirit matured in ex-bourbon casks and finishing it off for eight months in ex-Demerara rum barrels from Guyana for a rich and exotic whisky, bottled at 46% abv.

Aromas of cooked sugar, tropical fruits and rich molasses move into a palate of toasted coconut, banana and peaches. The finish is oily with sea spray, spice and more ripe fruits.
