Glenmorangie Grand Vintage Malt 1993

This 25-year-old Glenmorangie from 1993 is their third release in the Grand Vintage collection of exclusive single malt whiskies. Spending 10 years of its maturation in ex-bourbon casks, it has then spent a uniquely long time of 15 years finishing in Bual Madeira casks – this is a dark and fragrant fortified wine which is sweet but has a balanced level of accidity. Bottled at 43% abv, this is an elegant single malt with a rare depth and minerality from the expertely overseen maturation.
